Well we bought a house, on some land, with plans to make it our home. This blog will tell that story, how ever long it takes.

We are here…. 8 Karalee Road, Galston.

Galston is a great little rural suburb, which you would say, sits on the outskirts of Sydney. Its west of Mount Kuring-Gai and Hornsby Heights (though the gorge), east of Kenthurst, south of Arcadia and north of Dural.

We have a 5 acre lot (20,000m2), of which about two thirds is bushland that borders with the national park to the east, this is the bit I don’t need to mow! The top section of the land which is the western most block is nice and flat with plenty of room to kick a footy or ride a motor bike! The middle section is where the house sits, a little bit down the hill from the top yard, and neatly tucked away on the edge of a huge bush rock ridge that extends the whole way around our road.
