Work starts on the outside!

Keith and I took advantage of the beautiful weather over the weekend to start the work on the outside. We also had the Tree removal team lined up for Saturday morning, but issues with the chipper prevented them getting much done.

Basically started by clearing the driveway of all of the crap that was encroaching on the edges. Tied a rope the base of the spiky things (insert real name here) and dragged them out of the ground and up the driveway behind the Prado.

Also chopped up a bunch of the old trees that have fallen around the place, thanks to the $99 Aldi Chainsaw!

The tree guys were back onsite today finishing the work they started on Saturday morning. Below are a bunch of images and videos of the work they did. All in, 8 large trees have been removed, mainly because of their proximity to the house and risk of falling on us.
