Kids room upgrades… Part 3

Yep, unrelated image above.. but Lamb Chop learnt to drive…. and now onto the business of reno’s..

With the kids up in Newcastle with Nana and Pa for the week, Marika and I smashed out the prep and paint of the three rooms and hall at their end of the house. The kids got to choose the colours they wanted and once we did a test pot, we were able to confirm that they still wanted them. Sam and Charlie have a two-tone scheme, whereas Anna went with the same colour in full and quarter strength.

The remaining walls of the spare room and hall were all done with Lexicon White walls and Lexicon half ceilings. Given the kids rooms were stripped back to timbers and new plaster installed, there was a bunch of prep required before the colour could be started.

Next steps for this end of the house will be skirting, architraves, lighting and ceiling fan installs. Also have wardrobes on the way for the bedrooms.
