Well, finally time to tackle the lounge room floor… not going to be a pleasant job, but a necessary evil unfortunately. You see, when some guy was drunk when he originally poured the slab for the lougroom floor… and there is now about a 45mm high mountain in the middle of the room. This is not going to work when laying timber flooring (more to come on this). so the hump has to go.. I will be grinding the bulk of it out and then using floor leveler to raise up some of the low points.
I hung plastic the whole way around the lounge to try to prevent the abundance of dust working its way through the rest of the house. Then used a portable AC to create a vacuum to force the dust out the other end of the room and outside. Destroyed the first vacuum cleaner after about 20 minutes… Ozito be dead!
