General update just to show some of the progression of the prep in the lounge/kitchen/dining area. We have both been working pretty hard on this area as living in the back half of the house, while not terrible, is a bit frustrating. We also still have most of our crap in storage as we don’t have any space left to store couches, beds and other big furniture items!
The plan is to get the kitchen in ASAP, which will start before Christmas, and then be finished after the holidays. hopefully in Feb (depending on me and the then the stone mason).
Sparkies have been around and have done the wiring for the lights in the lounge and kitchen, as well as fix up a bunch of the other power related issue that came with ripping the wall out of the kitchen. It seems that the wiring in that wall was some sort of a junction for 4 circuits that basically opted out working when we ripped that wall down..
We also needed more capable circuits in the kitchen because of the two ovens which are both high power ovens because of the pyrolytic cleaning. Still a bunch of work to do in finishing it off because the kitchen cabinets need to go in before they can finish the power.
The floors for the lounge have arrived… and they were nice enough to dump them at the top of the driveway for me… so now I just need to move the 380kg down to the house. Yeah, evidently that truck driver didn’t feel confident on my driveway, can get a 35 tonne crane down there and a steel delivery truck (much longer than this thing) but not Mr Pantech.
Also I took a big dump….
Now just need to invite some friends around to fill it for me…
